Everyone capable of understanding the English language needs to watch this video from my friends at Matt and Kory Show. I don’t know who the brave, bearded gentleman was in this sketch, but he deserves a medal.
Starting in January, I’ll be issuing monthly email dispatches about The Big Crunch. You’ll get a comics month-in-review, links to new products and features, convention schedules and special commentary from yours truly. Sign up below, you fiendish miscreants!
Regular weekly updates of The Big Crunch resume this Sunday. In the meantime, catch up on episodes of The Panelists, a podcast featuring myself and my friend and fellow cartoonist Kyle Latino. We’ve got an interview with Dead Duck creator Jay P. Fosgitt, as well as a relentless episode about the rigors of freelance illustrating. Be sure to subscribe, leave comments and give us a review in iTunes!
I’ll see you Sunday.
Okay. Usually, I avoid these apologetic posts like a stack of dirty dishes. But they’ve piled high enough, and now it’s time to break out the sponge and start scrubbing.
It’s been a while since an update of The Big Crunch. I know this. And I want you to know, it’s not because of laziness. Over the last six weeks, I’ve been fortunate enough to have an influx of client work, a lot of which was from good friends whose projects I felt deserved my love and labor. Unfortunately, this has meant an accidental hiatus from the comic.
But producing my own comics has always been my dream, and since The Big Crunch is slowly gaining a steady readership, I want to invest as much time in it as I possibly can. So after the completion of this round of projects, I’ll devote all my creative time to my comics and establish a consistent weekly publishing schedule for The Big Crunch. You’ve been gracious enough to indulge my passion. I want to reward your loyalty with the most entertaining, most immersive and most provocative comic I can provide you with.
So, thanks for your correspondence and, more importantly, your patience. More of The Big Crunch is coming your way in August. Stay tuned.
Greetings, Earthling. Might I interest you in a podcast?
If you’re a cartoonist, then I think you’ll find the Principia Narrativica a fantastic battle plan for laying out and illustrating your next story.
And if you’re not a cartoonist, you’ll enjoy the asinine non-sequitors I attempt to jimmy into every crevice of the episodes.
